The Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard mission statement is… “to facilitate the concept of “neighbors helping neighbors”. We strive to keep families together by providing them with goods and services so they can become more self-sufficient over time.”
They achieve this mission by
- Coordinating the collection of money, food, clothing and small household items
- Providing these items to people in need in our local communities
- Developing and advocating for programs which strengthen families under stress.
