The Rotary Club of Ambler awarded Montco SAAC one of our Community Grants to provide funds to support The Safe Homes & Efficiency Repairs for Elders, “Safe Here” is a pilot program, which is a complement to their Meals on Wheels program. The program is a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties. Once Meals on Wheels volunteers identify a potential issue in the home, Habitat will assist SAAC by assessing the situation and then offer a work plan, while providing discount labor and materials.
