Ambler Rotary, led by Diane Schueler, provided the children of Ambler Head Start with a home library on Monday, November 14. Each of the 20 students and their delighted parent went home with a bag containing 24 new or gently used books, including two of their favorite Pete the Cat books. Each book had book plate inscribed with their name – the first word they learn to read. The bag also had a coloring book, crayons and a puzzle. Ambler Rotary is committed to literacy in children and providing books in the home is an important contributor to that. See a complete gallery of photos on our Facebook page.
